This is the order of running events at our track meets. The last 3 are the Field Events, which take place as the running events are taking place. The normal order of running competition will be Gremlin Girls, Gremlin Boys, Bantam Girls, Bantam Boys, etc., through to Intermediate Boys. Bantams are the first age group available for the 3000 Meter. Distance races may be combined with Girls and Boys, and at times different age divisions depending on the number of participants. The results are still listed by age division and gender.

Field Events order is as follows:
Long Jump – Gremlins, Intermediate, Midget, Youth, Bantams
Shot Put – Youth, Intermediate, Bantam, Midget
High Jump – follows running competition order
Gremlins (ages 5 – 8) can only compete in 3 events, they have the option of Long Jump, 4x100M relays, 1500M, 400M, 100M, 800M, 200M. They are first to compete in each event.

Bantams (ages 9 – 10) can compete in three individual events and 1 relay, or 2 individual events and 2 relays. The only event they can’t compete in are the Hurdles.

Midgets (ages 11 – 12) and Youth (ages 13 – 14) can also compete in three individual events and 1 relay, or 2 individual events and 2 relays. . They have the option of competing in every event.

Intermediate/Young athletes (ages 15 – 18) can compete in any 4 events.
