The homecoming manager will be responsible for attending the homecoming ceremonies and getting the girls organized in preparation for their homecoming performance. This may include but is not limited to pom pom distribution, hair ribbon distribution, uniform accessories, hair styling, etc. Additionally, the homecoming manager is responsible for ensuring the run through sign is made and filled with balloons. Balloons, paper and helium will be provided. The homecoming manager is also responsible for taking photos of the performance. At minimum, one meeting with the cheer director is required.
Photo Day Manager – Filled
Photo Day Manager is responsible the distribution of photo envelopes, attending the entire cheer session, securing/creating a roster of all Vikings Cheerleaders alphabetically and assisting the photographers as needed. This person needs to be very organized and have a strong personality. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for photo distribution and will be the primary point of contact throughout the entire process.
Spirit Wear Manager – Filled
The spirit wear manager is responsible for any uniform components outside of the standard uniform elements (shell, skirt, briefs and bows.) This person will be responsible for managing the sweatshirt/sweat outfit/jacket order for the entire cheer program from finding a cost appropriate vendor, procuring pricing, gathering sizes and distributing final product. Budget and creative must be approved by the cheer director before any product is ordered or sales of existing materials are created.
This is the first job on the schedule seeing as we order uniforms in June, July and August. This person needs to manage who ordered what and when, check in pieces once they arrive and assist in distribution. This role is also responsible for gathering the sizes for briefs, ordering poms and bow on an alt site and managing that distribution as well.
End of Year Manager
The end of year manager will handle the distribution and tracking of raffle tickets, yearbook orders, yearbook signature squares, and banquet order forms. The basic role is to disseminate and collect associated paperwork and organize into a spreadsheet to track payment and headcount.
